MEET THE ARTIST
Hi, I'm Hannah! An artist and illustrator based on the beautiful Ynys Môn in North Wales. As a watercolourist (primarily), sketch artist, digital artist and print maker, I find my inspiration from the natural world, and the flora and fauna around us. It's a privilege to be able to capture often fleeting elements or those unnoticed details of life.
BACKGROUND
I've loved creating art, theatre sets and captivating illustrations from a young age, following in the footsteps of generations of creatives and designers. I dabble in digital art but my main love is watercolour, nothing beats real paint and paper. Art is about story telling and real connection so you won't find any AI or Canva driven artwork here! As a fully trained Art Therapy Practitioner, I see clearly the benefits of being creative. There's something incredibly special about creating a piece of art however big or small that can illicit emotions in the onlooker or even transport them into the artwork, even for just a moment. I've found art an escape from many stressors and the pace of modern life and I think to be able to offer this to other people is beautiful. Whether it's in children's book illustrations and educational material or delicate watercolours and wedding invitation suites, art should be accessible and affordable for everyone and I hope this comes across in my work.
As the artist behind Môn Mini Prints and Custom Art, I take on projects and commissions from across the U.K. On this website you'll find information with regards to book illustrations and commissioning bigger projects as well as my online store. In the store you'll come across lino prints, and everyday artwork inspired by the stunning island I live on and further afield into North Wales. You'll also find my range of wedding and event invitation suites and other customisable pieces for businesses or personal occasions, as well as 'Art for Home School', and 'Art for Wellbeing' boxes (coming soon).
